Role and Process
During my internship at J.Mendel, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in various aspects of the fashion industry. I contributed by creating designs in graphics and embellishments, as well as assisting with print artwork for garment samples. Additionally, I worked on creating technical designs for production.
Collaborating on the Manolo Blahnik x J. Mendel partnership, I hand illustrated color-ways and technical designs. I also gained hands-on experience by working closely with pattern makers, sewing, and grading patterns for production.
To strengthen concept development boards, I dedicated time to sourcing inspiration and conducting extensive research. My internship at J.Mendel was a valuable experience that allowed me to contribute to the creative and technical aspects of the fashion industry.
